Preparing for your stay
Phone Service

The Cottage has a phone and you can make all the local calls you want. To call long distance, you will need
either a calling card or a cell phone with AT&T or Cingular service. If you have an emergency, you can use the
phone in the Main House for long distance calls.

If you have a cell phone with another carrier, most phones get good service in Yosemite Valley, so you could
make calls during your day in the Park.

Internet Service

There is no internet service in the Cottage at this point.  If you bring a computer card that supports AT&T or
Cingular cell service, you will be able to access the internet from the Cottage.

Closing time in the Country

Coulterville is charming, but it is small, and we are most definitely in the country. The grocery store in Greeley Hill
closes by 7pm, and the restaurants in town generally close by 6pm, so if you plan to eat locally, be sure you
arrive in time.

Gas is available 24 hours a day, but it is between 6 and 10 miles away, depending on which direction you travel.
